　　换成："phone" or "mobile" or"cell"

　　换成 TV

　　换成 fridge

　　4 automobile 和auto 汽车

　　换成 car

　　5 shall 应该

　　在口语中我们不用这个词了，一般只能在文字的规定中才可以，如公园让你不要大小便，吐痰等。如：You shall not spit in the park. 

　　可以换成：should, will, be going to

　　6 What a pity!   或者 What a shame! 真遗憾，真糟糕！

　　换成：That sucks. 或者： That blows.

　　7 Pardon me ! 

　　换成：Excuse me! 或者Sorry!

　　8 entered somewhere 进入       (这个太正式了，好像你是敲锣打鼓进去的)

　　换成I went in the classroom. I went in the car.

　　9exited/ˈeksɪtid; ˈeɡzɪtid/ 离开

　　换成 left.

　　10 departed 启程

　　换成left

　　11  received 接收

　　换成 got 如： You've got mail.

　　12 participate 参与， 如：I participated in a football game yesterday.

　　换成I played football yesterday.

　　13 I joined the party.   只有在必须交会员费的情况下才能用 "joined" ，而且可能你要加入某个组织一个月。

　　换成   I went to the party.

　　14 located 探明， 如：I located my pen.

　　换成：I found my pen.

　　15 disco 迪厅,这个在上世纪70年代才能找到

　　换成 nightclub,  或者bar

　　16 occupation 职业

　　换成：job 如：What's your job?
